Nov. 6 Meet and greet at Shipp's Landing Condo Social Room, 1090 South Collier Blvd., Marco Island, FL. Cocktails and Heavy Hors d'oeuvres served.

   Nov. 7 Golf, tennis, backwater fishing. Beach, shopping also available.        Cookout and more cocktails at 1800.

   Nov. 8  Car or boat trip to Everglades City. Take boat tour of Everglades     National Park. Dinner in Goodland, FL (very rustic like Old Florida).

   Nov. 9  More golf, shopping, beaching, etc. Catered dinner at Duchess Condo. More cocktails.

Currently we have positive responses from Aguanno, Boose, Carroll, Giles, Hamlin, Potter, Reed, Sloan, and Wagner for a total of 17 attendees. Acers and Klingberg are still hopefuls, but dubious for medical reasons. If plans change please let Bill Carroll know, ASAP. We would all love to see more of you make the journey.  

We have waterfront rooms for 18 now at a very reasonable cost $80/night.  We need a firm count soon so we can make reservations for another beachfront condo. Also, anyone arriving before the 6th or departing before or after the 10th should let Bill know. When you arrive in the vicinity of Marco Island please call Bill (home 239-642-8709 or cell 815-222-3936) for instructions. If you can't reach Bill, call Jim Sloan's cell is 321-482-4113 (he doesn't have a # for his apartment yet but Joan's cell is 321-482-4114). 

Bill has made arrangements for watercraft for a half-day orientation cruise around lovely Marco Island which we will fit in on the 7th or 8th depending on preferences.  Every thing will be planned and formalized in the spirit of ALOHA or MANANA meaning "LAID BACK". Dress will be FLORIDA FORMAL (translation: NO SHIRT, NO SHOES - NO SERVICE).  I would still appreciate some indication of interest in activities besides eating, drinking, BS-ing, etc. (which we will certainly leave plenty of time for).  Fishing, golf, and tennis require some pre-planning and reservations; other activities can be decided anytime.
